Prek-1 (4.5 – 5.5 years)

By adopting a positive and caring attitude helps children to display their meaningful interaction with others, helping children to make friends, moving freely within set limits, taking children around and having an interaction with others, learning values through stories.

Physical and motor development – learning areas include gross-motor skills, body awareness, spatial awareness, games that involve whole body co-ordination, balance and agility games. Demonstrate increased competency and control in eye-hand co-ordination like colouring, using friendly scissors and many more.

Cognitive development – learning areas includes early math, environmental studies, language and literacy. Sensory development activities like comparing, drawing basic shapes, puzzles, number concepts, handling objects, pre-math concepts and colour concepts. Literacy skill helps in speaking development, both in home and in our surrounding environment. Health and hygiene helps in self-awareness and self-protection. Cognitive development encourage children to stimulate intellectual curiosity and understand the world in which he/she lives and to foster new interest .
